Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for The US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. The Final Five. In 2012 her year, she received gold in the team competitions along with the floor exercise. In the balance beam Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the most medals. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning gold in the team competition, which earned both she and Gabby the distinction as the first Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. She also won silvers in individual all around and for floor work. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. In addition she was a part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. As for the future, she hopes to build a career from fashion. She would also like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. The book she is working on is called Fierce which will come out later this year.
